At BEEWISE Doula I strive to provide compassionate support to pregnant women and their partners throughout their pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey. I am dedicated to supporting your wishes, helping you to discover more about how you can have a better pregnancy, be more in control of your birth and heal well and bond beautifully with your baby after. I want to encourage you to replace fear with peace, worry with strength and confusion with knowledge, and I plan to share with you how to achieve this.
Remember, Our bodies were made to birth!
God Bless You and Congratulations on your upcoming birth! My name is Jennifer Ingham, a Dona Internationally trained Doula, Birth Assistant to Midwives, and a devoted Wife and Mother of 8 that loves supporting and empowering women and their partners to feel confidently prepared for the coming of their precious baby! In addition to my doula and birth assistant training, I have been trained in Childbirth Education, Breastfeeding Support and am NRP certified. I am currently working towards additional certifications that will provide even more help to families that I serve. I not only bring a wealth of knowledge and hands-on support, but I have also had 7 homebirths and 1 hospital birth myself that has given me a vast array of internal wisdom that is forever implanted in my heart and mind. I fell in love with birth 28 years ago, partly because of the experience of birth and partly because of the love and support that I received from my midwives and doulas. I am now so happy to be able to support you and help you to have your own beautiful birth experience and birth story to tell time and time again!
Let's Dou-la this!!
BEEWISE Doula- a business with a funny little name to most. But for me, it is profound. Some may not know, but a bee is known for many great qualities. They are known for yes, being busy, but also for working hard for the community at large. They often carry way more than their body mass should allow. They work for very long hours and don't stop until the job is done. The wisdom of the bee is incredible. For having such tiny little brains they are quite intelligent. They can count, recognize human faces and even learn simple tool use. I started thinking of the doula as such a creature as a bee in the Birthing Profession world. Perhaps she isn't well known as having great degrees or perhaps she is treated as not so important to some, but without her, it's been proven that birth doesn't go as well for mama and baby. Without her, the mom looses a great advocate and essential support for her and her partner. Without her the Birth hive isn't as strong and the memories of it all aren't as sweet.
A good Doula is worth more than her weight in honey! And as you grow through your birth and open as a flower in bloom, I want to be that very important worker bee for you, supporting you continuously through it all.
